Women's Bible Study - Wednesday Morning

Group Details

Gender: Women

Our world is unstable, full of uncertainty even for the most established free society. How do we find stability in our world today? What perspectives can allow us to be triumphant rather than defeated amid any circumstances of life?

This fall, beginning September 20, we are excited to explore the answers in the letter Paul wrote to the Ephesians. It is a short letter, only six chapters in all, intended to be read to various churches previously established by Paul. Paul describes the new life and society which God has already created through Christ. Ephesians has been described as one of the richest and most profound New Testament writings. We will use a traditional study guide by N.T. Wright for the first 5 chapters. We then plan to use a 6-week DVD study entitled “The Armor of God” by Priscilla Shirer for chapter 6.

This Bible study is open to all women who would like to study God's Word together and apply it to their lives. Every Wednesday morning we gather from 9:15-11:30 a.m. for fellowship, coffee, Bible study discussion and prayer. We meet at the same home each week in central Greenwich.

No experience needed to join this Bible study! We welcome new people each session, so if you have no experience with Bible study or lots of experience please feel free to explore whether this might be a group for you. Please contact one of us to let us know if you are interested and we will get you directions.
