We seek to demonstrate the love of God in tangible and practical ways that result in lasting change. Whether it is as part of the connections team on a Sunday morning at Trinity, volunteering in a partner organization in the local area, or being part of a short-term missions trip overseas, we hope you will find a place where you can serve.
There are many ways that you can lend a helping hand, and put your unique skills, abilities and experiences to use, all the while getting to know those in the church family even better as you serve side-by-side.
For current serving opportunities, check out the Find Opportunities page and select "At Trinity."

A great way to get connected with local service opportunities is to join one of our Mission-Shaped Communities groups (MSC). For example, Trinity Men's Local Social Outreach MSC regularly takes on day projects that benefit local organizations as well as members of Trinity who are in need of extra assistance.
We also hold regular churchwide outreach activities, such as Trinity's annual Thanksgiving Food and Bedding Collection, backpack builds, Operation Christmas Child, and we respond to local emergencies.
Trinity's primary local partners:
- Building One Community (formerly Neighbors Link) (Stamford, CT)
- Chester Addison Community Center (Stamford, CT)
- Elinor Martin Residence for Mother & Child (New Rochelle, NY)
- Neighbor to Neighbor (Greenwich, CT)
- New Covenant Center (Stamford, CT)
Trinity groups that provide opportunities to serve locally include:
Trinity has always felt called to serve those further afield and has a long history of serving the Lord in places such as Rwanda, Jamaica and Uganda.
Currently our primary overseas partners are World Vision, International Justice Mission, JENGA and Partners in Health.
The Valentine Family, members of our Trinity community, are currently serving the Lord in Uganda with JENGA, and our Student Ministries has a vibrant relationship with a community in Jamaica.
At Trinity we have a number of opportunities to be part of serving overseas.
We are thrilled to be exploring a new overseas partner as we come alongside the work of Global Hope Network in India. We will be serving GHN in their vision to reach the most hidden of the world, through planting churches and bringing about the holistic transformation of communities through development projects. We have a first trip planned for September 7-15, 2017. We will be traveling to a rural and basic part of India so this trip is particularly suitable for those who have spent time in the developing world in the past.
We have been invited to partner with World Relief to run a ministry retreat for their staff based in Haiti. A preliminary planning trip took place in July 2017 and the retreat will be held in winter 2017/2018. This trip would be particularly suitable for those involved in prayer ministry at Trinity.
Having had a number of Trinity teams travel to work with JENGA in Uganda, we will be taking another team in the spring of 2018. This trip is open to anyone and is a great first experience of overseas mission work.
