Making Room for the Gospel to Grow
In 2024 we hope to build on growing momentum in our existing congregations, generate greater capacity for new Trinity ministries, and increase support for our kids and youth. We need your participation to see that happen.
Why pledge?
At Trinity, we seek to make our giving an act of worship and of spiritual formation, done both joyfully and sacrificially. Pledging helps each of us to make a plan for this and also helps the church to estimate total giving for the year.
Is my gift needed?
Yes! Every single gift matters to God and matters to our church family. Your contribution makes a direct impact on people’s lives across two counties, and allows us not only to continue ministering to one another, but to reach more people and new communities. 2024 Investment Priorities
1. Sustained Growth
We are excited and grateful for great momentum across our three locations this past year and believe God has much more for us in 2024! Growth brings both abundant opportunity as well as practical needs for resources. We want to ensure that this growth is ongoing and sustainable, and to consistently draw people to Trinity who are exploring belief or seeking to cultivate deeper faith in Jesus.
2. Our Spiritual Formation
Whatever your starting point, God has more for you! We want to build intentional lives focused on growing in the Way of Jesus. To equip us in this, we have planned sermon series to anchor us in Jesus, such as upcoming series about the Real Jesus, exploring core Christian theology in the Apostles’ Creed, counter-cultural ethics in the Sermon on the Mount, and more. In addition to this, we hope to offer workshops and groups that bring greater depth to these teaching themes.
We believe that God’s heart is for us to flourish in faith and live it at home, work, and school as we pursue spiritual disciplines. As Trinity grows, all of these efforts require broader reach and deeper resources.
3. Investing in the Next Generation
Our dream is to see thriving, healthy kids, youth, college students, and young adults who are anchored in faith and community despite the turbulence of the world around them. In a busy, achievement-based culture that is often in conflict with God’s best for us, we want to foster environments where families are equipped and connected, and can gain confidence for the mission at hand.
Currently, a search for a new staff person to join the Trinity Kids Team is underway. We also want to continue investing in our Next Gen team (Trinity Kids and Trinity Youth) and substantively resource and empower parents to foster spiritual growth at home.
4. Leadership Development
We are taking steps toward launching a one-to two-year learning and development experience for a cohort of Trinity congregants who are called to vocational or bi-vocational ministry leadership. This intentional discipleship program would be designed to equip and empower participants to grow in their God-given gifts, cultivate new skills for ministry, and be deployed at Trinity and beyond to make a difference in the Kingdom.
5. Community Life
Our long-term goal is to provide this through dedicated Community Life (groups and pastoral care) staffing at every Trinity location. Fostering enduring friendships and service opportunities centered around Christ are core to our ministries. We believe this is most effectively achieved through coordinating pastoral care, small groups and volunteers, enabling people to experience community by serving and learning together.
6. Building Capacity
We want to prepare, especially in terms of finances and staffing, for new Kingdom opportunities which the Lord may lead us toward in the future. This could be additional Sunday services at our existing locations, creating new congregations in our region, the security of more long-term facilities, or all of these!
