"It takes a village to raise a child" could not be more accurate when it comes to a teenager's faith journey. That's why at Trinity Youth we are committed to providing a village of caring people who model an authentic faith in Jesus Christ. There's no perfect mold for a volunteer - God uses people of all ages, personalities, and talents to impact students.
Huddle Leader: Huddles are small groups of students based on grade and gender that meet weekly in homes. Each Huddle is lead by 1-2 adults who have an authentic faith in Jesus and desire to care for and speak into the lives of our students. Huddles usually run for an hour and half, with time for relational connection, prayer, and spiritual investment.
Weekend Leader: Three times a month on Sunday mornings, at both the Darien and Greenwich locations, we gather with students at the same time as the main service for games, worship, and teaching. Weekend volunteers are committed to being at and helping with the large group program and play a key role in creating a welcoming and fun environment for our students.
Retreat Leader: Twice a year we take our students away for a retreat to connect with each other and to deepen their faith. We have a weeklong camp experience called "SummerQuest" during the first week of August, and separate middle school and high school weekend retreats during the year. Retreat leaders can volunteer by either leading a group or supporting staff during the week.
