Groups at Trinity

What is a Group?

At Trinity, we believe that the Christian life is a life of apprenticeship—one where we passionately pursue the lifestyle and mission of Jesus Christ while deepening our faith in the context of community.

Thus, in addition to coming together on Sunday, we invite you to join us during the week through our Groups offerings.

We understand that our journeys may be at different stages; accordingly, as you say yes to exploring faith or to deepening your relationship with God, we present you with the following opportunities, trusting that one of them will provide what you seek:

Alpha

Alpha is a series of fun gatherings where we explore the Christian faith over food and group conversations, focusing on the big questions of life, spirituality, and faith—all from a Christian lens in a laid back and non-judgmental environment. If you are curious, skeptical, or just have questions, bring them to Alpha and explore them with new friends.

Beta

Beta is a series of foundational discipleship courses for anyone who just completed Alpha, who is a new believer, or even for someone who has been a Christian for years. This series is ideal for anyone who wants to learn how to follow Jesus, how to study the Bible or has questions about the nature of God or other Biblical concepts.

Courses

Providing a pathway to apprenticeship, these are a series of courses led by select teachers and curated around Trinity’s Pillars (Apprenticeship to Jesus, Biblical Literacy, God’s Mission, Spirit Empowered Living, Care and Healing, Committed Community) to help you actively grow as an apprentice of Jesus, all while learning about Trinity and growing in community.

To grow the most in faith, in knowledge of God, and in your relationships, we recommend taking one course per term over a 2-3 year period.

Community Groups

Our community groups provide the space to experience the Father’s love, to be transformed in the image of Jesus, and to live missionally—all within the context of genuine and lasting relationships.

These groups are offered on a term basis—Fall and Winter/Spring (13 weeks), and Summer (8 weeks)—and can also be structured as a “life group” whereby members opt to remain together for longer periods of time or continually, with a clearly defined discipleship and missional vision.

Connect Groups

A subset of Community Groups, these are “meet ups” with no required time commitment, around a common interest or to simply be in community—offered within the perimeters of our spiritual values.

Care Groups

Partnering with care professionals and seasoned Christian leaders, we also offer Care Groups to help navigate unexpected circumstances of life by providing the tools and a communal space to process, heal, and thrive.
