I'm new. Where do I take my kids on Sunday morning?
When you arrive on Sunday, signs will direct you to the orange Trinity Kids check-in area where you can register and check-in for the morning. Children under five years old may go directly to the room for their age group. Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade are dismissed from the worship service.
The first Sunday of every month we bring kids back to the service so that families can receive communion together.
How do I check-in when I arrive?
If it's your first time with us, one of our staff will help you to register.
If you've already registered your kids or have already used our check-in system on a previous Sunday, simply enter your login information then follow the directions on the screen.
What happens at the end of the service?
Please collect your children from the room where you dropped them off, showing your parent's collection card to their leader (we love your children too so we won't release them to anyone who doesn't have the card!).
Why do my elementary-aged kids begin the service with me?
We believe that the family is a crucial environment for discipling children. Therefore, at Trinity we place a high value on worshipping together as families for the opening portion of the worship service. We hope that this reinforces what is already happening at home.
What will my kids be doing and learning?
Our hope is that our kids will learn what it means to be best friends with Jesus, teammates with each other, and part of God's adventure in the world. This happens through songs, games, diving into the Bible, and a whole host of other activities!
Who will be looking after my kids?
In our Early Childhood rooms, children are cared for by our experienced nursery staff team alongside leaders from the Trinity Kids Team. For children in elementary school, each grade is led by a Trinity Kids small group leader who shepherds them throughout the morning. Everyone who works with children at Trinity is subject to background screening.
What if my child has a food allergy?
We take care to ensure that all the children are properly cared for in Trinity Kids. Known allergies are printed on every child's name tag. Please be sure to alert us to any allergies when you register your child.
What if my child has special needs?
We want to make every child welcome in Trinity Kids. Wherever possible we seek to include children with special needs in groups with their peers by assigning a member of the Trinity Kids team as a "buddy" with that child.
Where do I sign up my child for a midweek group?
We seek to make all our groups accessible and welcoming to everyone (and, yes, your child can bring a friend). As such, there are no fees or pre-group sign-up.
