Sunday

Worship with us on Sunday morning in either Greenwich or Darien. Our Sunday morning worship draws upon engaging and relevant teaching, inspirational visual media, the best of contemporary music, and an encounter with the redeeming love of God through worship and Holy Communion. Prayer ministry is offered every week.

Locations:

GREENWICH: 10 a.m. at Greenwich Hyatt Regency (1800 E. Putnam Avenue, Old Greenwich)
DARIEN: 9 & 10:30 a.m. at Darien Library (1441 Post Road, Darien)

Need help finding a group?

Do you offer children’s programs or childcare on Sunday mornings?

Yes! We offer Trinity Kids, our dynamic children's ministry, from birth - 5th grade. Age-appropriate curriculum starts at 18 months. If it's your child's first time attending, please come 10-15 minutes early to check in.

What should I wear on Sunday mornings?

Feel free to come as you are. Trinity is a casual church and this is reflected right down to what people wear to Sunday services. On a given Sunday you may see someone arrive in "business casual," but sit down next to a couple in jeans or a woman in running clothes. Please feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Will there be food after the worship service?

After each worship service we have a Coffee Hour complete with baked goods and usually some gluten free items. You are invited to stay awhile, introduce yourself and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Is Trinity Church affiliated with a denomination?

Trinity Church was intentionally formed apart from any denomination. As a community of faith, we desire to create a space where those who are far from God can come, experience His love and feel at home. Denominations typically mean more to those already involved in a church community and we want those who do not regularly attend church to feel welcome. We continue to exist as a non-denominational church body governed by a Council.

How can I stay informed?

The website is a great resource, plus we have several regular emails that go out (Trinity Weekly, Year of Biblical Literacy weekly emails, and parent newsletters). Click here to subscribe to the email list(s) of your choice.

How can I meet people?

The best way to meet people is by joining the next Alpha Course, checking out one of Trinity's short-term groups or serving in some capacity. We believe true community happens in the context of smaller groups of people, doing life together, living on mission with God.

So, I attended a service... What are my next steps?

Come to a Newcomer Welcome after one of the services, join the Alpha Course, investigate a group or serve in some way. These are great ways to help you get connected, grow your faith, and begin to serve in our community.

Will Trinity always be a mobile church, without its own building with a sanctuary?

Since its founding in 1999, Trinity Church has existed as a church without our own Sunday worship space. While we are always open to the possibility of a building which has Sunday worship space that God may lead us towards, we see being a mobile church as a strength as it allows us the flexibility to pick up and change locations when needed. A challenge of being a mobile church is that we may be meeting in several different locations (plus homes) in a given week, dependent too on availability and affordability. To address this, in 2016 we purchased the building at 5 River Road in Cos Cob and began renovations. In December 2017 our Ministry Center opened and is a space for midweek groups and for the Trinity community to gather.
